What is a digital signature?
If you receive your invoice by email, we offer you the chance to check if the invoice is genuine by way of a digital signature. You also need this check if you want to submit the invoice to the Inland Revenue Office for your pre-tax allowance (only for companies and self-employed persons who are entitled to a pre-tax allowance).
The signature is a file that is attached to your invoice email. The signature file has the same name as the invoice with the additional suffix .pkcs7 (example: your invoice has the filename RGF123456789.pdf and the digital signature the filename RGF123456789.pdf.pkcs7).
